Hal Jay
The most recognizable laugh in the Metroplex belongs to Hal Jay, host of the WBAP Morning News (5-8:30 a.m.). A key member of the WBAP team since 1981, Hal started his broadcast career in Liberal, Kansas and worked at stations in Fort Worth and Memphis before joining WBAP. He started his radio career as a teenager.
Hal is involved in a variety of community service endeavors, and is a native of Fort Worth.
In his off-time Hal enjoys hunting, fishing and golf. He and his wife, Ann, have two sons, Josh and Carter.
